Activities for members

Over the past couple of years members of the Wicklow Triple A Alliance have enjoyed a number of activities such as:

Trips to Fort Lucan and Clara Lara Adventure Parks,
Dublin Zoo, and Glenroe and Greenane Farms,
Horseriding at Festina Lente,
Archery, outdoor games, indoor games, board games, and regular bowling.
We have ongoing drama group courses, and have had gym sessions and a drumming workshop.
Three or four times a year we book the Ormonde Cinema at Stillorgan for ourselves so that we can relax and enjoy the film without any worries, and have done the same for swimming.
During the year we hold support meetings and social nights for parents, sometimes with a guest speaker, which prove invaluable for sharing experiences and information, thus alleviating the sense of isolation and desperation we often feel.
We continue to endeavour to create a range of activities that might appeal to the whole membership, whose childrens' ages span from 3 to 30, and we always welcome new ideas and suggestions.
